The March of Dimes (2024) Maternity Care Desert Coverage tells us that 1 in 3 women of color reported experiencing discrimination. Raising New York (2023) Maternal Mortality & Morbidity Council reports that Black moms are more than 12 times more likely to experience or die from pregnancy-related complications than white moms.
